Through the generous support of many individuals/firms/organizations, HOPE is able to offer over 25 service programs, the Public Interest Luncheon Series, and sponsor the HOPE Fellows Program. There are many ways to get involved and make a difference. Please take a moment to consider joining us as we promote access to justice and instill a pro bono ethic in our future lawyers.
Fundraising is a crucial part of the HOPE Program. Each year, HOPE volunteers take part in various benefit days and fundraising activities to raise money for both fellowship opportunities and community outreach projects. The main fundraising event for the program is the HOPE Auction, held in the early fall. This fall, HOPE will host the tenth annual auction to help increase the number of fellowships and advocacy programs, in our community.
The Annual HOPE Auction is the major fundraising event of the year for HOPE projects. Volunteers collect a wide variety of donations from area and national businesses that are auctioned off during an evening of fun! Past items have included trips to Jamaica and the Bahamas, sports memorabilia, gift certificates to local restaurants and spas, and of course those all important BarBri and PMBR courses!
Can't attend the auction, or you just don't know what item your company can donate? Other annual fundraising efforts include Entertainment Book sales in the Fall, Donate a Day to Public Interest, Exam Care Packages, and HOPE Benefit Days/Fundraisers.
